Picture update

It's been a bit hectic the last week or so, so just a quick post with some pictures. Looking forward to NYE ! Must be nice in Florida this time of year !

Happy Christmas One and All

Happy Christmas to all our Bottle Bar customers. New pictures on their way, it's been a bit busy the last week or so ! However we have everything in stock and looking forward to the next week. There will be a post going up re. New Years Eve so check back to see details of special offers and competitions !!
Friday night came out as the most popular night for live entertainment and we will be booking something in mid January to go with Adam Lipinski who is already booked for 30th Jan.

Friday Night with Ryan Inglis at TBB

Just a quick post, I am actually in the bar and have just opened. Second day of putting the bar back together after busy nights. I am not complaining though and thanks to all of you who came in on Friday and Saturday night.

Here are some pictures of Ryan's (and Laura's) second visit to us and also now the board is fully updated another picture. And yes I know Stella Artois is 5.2% ABV not 4.9%. Great to have everyone singing along on Friday too.

Also thank you to Clare from Thatchers for the Tasting evening, the result was that apart from Gold the most popular are Oak and Old Rascal.

Just a usual Thursday at the Bottle Bar ....

Thanks to everyone for coming in so far this week. Nice to see the Plymouth boys in and drinking us out of Okochim Black Label, have a good Christmas gentlemen and we look forward to seeing you in the New Year.
Good to see the regulars, the Elephant stock is getting lower but with one more order before Christmas we should be ok so don't worry. We should have enough champange in now to get us through Christmas although if one individual carries on the way he is going then maybe not (you know who you are !)

Big night tonight (Friday 12th) as we have the Thatchers Tasting and Lips and Licks in (I am assured they are a band !)

We are always happy to put your photos up on this site so mail them to info@bottle-bar.com and we can post them. They have to be clean, obviously, and we will award a prize to the most amusing/arty photo that we get.

Our range of beers ....

We also have an extensive ranges of Real Ales, Ciders, Wine and Spirits.

This Friday 12/12 is Thatchers Tasting Evening starting at 8pm followed at 9pm by Live Music with Lips and Licks (Ryan Inglis and Laura)

A Carnival Image

Since Opening ..........

Good Morning and welcome to my first post on the blog.

It has been a very busy few weeks since the opening night of the Bottle Bar. Speaking of Opening night it was fantastic to see everyone that turned up and anyone there will surely say that it was a great night. Our thanks go to the Lord Mayor for officially opening the bar and to everyone who came down to West Street to celebrate the new venture.

And since then we have had the amazing Ryan Inglis play for our first Live Music night. Again thanks to everyone who came that night and to Ryan for entertaining. Ryan will be playing this Friday 12th December with Lorna as Lips and Licks. Ryan and Lorna will play at 9pm which is preceeded at 8pm by a Thatchers Tasting night. We aim to canvass opinion as to whether our current stock of Thatchers is wide enough and if any clear favourites appear then we will be sure to stock them.

On that note, as anyone who has visited will tell you, we are always open to suggestions as to beers, wines or spirits that you would like us to stock. We are runnning with about 150 lines at the moment but this is increasing daily much to Rob's enjoyment. Rob has developed a fascination with bottles that is getting worrying, you won't see him happier than when he is organising those bottles out back !

Carnival night was also a great night despite the weather and hopefully some photos will start to appear on the blog to catch up on this and the other major events that have taken place so far.

Again, thanks to everyone for supporting us and for checking us out over the last few weeks.
